Starting off

1984

Agro Solvent Products Pvt Ltd established a solvent extraction plant with a daily capacity of 60MT and refining capacity of 25MT at Datia, Madhya Pradesh

First expansion

1990

Daily crushing capacity of solvent extraction plant was increased to 150MT and daily refining capacity to 50MT

Second expansion

1995

Installed an additional solvent extraction plant of 300MT per day at the same facility to increase total crushing capacity to 450MT per day

Third expansion

1997-1998

Increased daily crushing capacity of one solvent extraction plant from 150MT to 300MT, making total crushing capacity to 600MT per day. Increased daily refining capacity to 100MT

Mustard oil mill

2004

Added an oil mill section by installing 12 expellers for crushing 300 MT per day of Mustard seed

Increase in crushing capacity

2005

Enhanced daily crushing capacity of one of the solvent extraction plant from 300MT to 500MT, making total daily crushing capacity 800MT

Kohlu section added

2009

Added Kohlu section with daily crushing capacity of 100MT to produce ‘kacchi ghani’ mustard oil

Added Wind Mills

2010

We realised the importance of renewable & sustainable energy and invested in windmills to generate power of up to 3.2 MW

Further increase in crushing capacity 

2012

Increased daily crushing capacity of both solvent plants to crush a total of 1200MT per day of Soybeans. Further, to diversify in food products, we also created a state of the art facility to manufacture Soya food products like Soya Flour, Soya Grits, Soya Full Fat Flour, etc

New plant-based  ingredients unit 

2015

Established a new division Sun Nutrafoods at Mandideep city near Bhopal to manufacture & sell various plant-based ingredients for food, nutraceuticals, pharmaceutical, and feed industries
